as above guys xman is making me a gtb2260 hybrid guaranteed to run 2.4 bar of boost im concerned about the engine mounts as im over doubling the bhp whats the crack with these vibratec mounts is the vibration really that bad? is there any other options?

The bad vibration only tends to be on the dogbone mount

Isn't the the gtb2260 just standard internals or is he hybriding it in to a gtb2556

Can't you mod the standard mounts?

Sure I've seen it in another forum where they squirt something into standard mounts and they're a little stiffer.

Dark Hero has the vibratechnic mounts and he said that they're a little bit noisy on long journeys.

Yep I have them. Started to get a bit tiring after 11 hours on the road. But I think anyone would be tired after 11 hours of driving.

The engine note seems improved though and they do the job nicely.

If your using your car daily you might get fed up with them, but I don't need my car for work
