Recommend a sealant safe shampoo

Featured Replies

Hello

I have a race blue Octavia III and at the moment use Sonax NPT, Autobrite Banana Gloss shampoo and Sonax BSD.

I have nearly run out of the banana gloss. Can someone please suggest a sealant safe Shampoo? I was going to to try Zymol natural shampoo from Halfords but it looks expensive for the amount you get.

Thanks

Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo

Ive tried many and always come back to this

Has this got conditioners in it? Will this be ok to use with Sonax BSD after?

Yes it will ......

but when using Sealants, always make sure they are being applied to a clean paintwork base..totally free of any product or they will fail early

To be sure, do a wipe down with IPA or a dedicated degreaser like CarPro Eraser

In the case of BSD...This can be applied over any LSP because its designed as a QD

Britemax CleanMax is by far my favourite shampoo. Very little is needed & it's very slick. Just another one for you to consider.

I got a (US) gallon of Meguiars from CYC recently, part of their Detailer series. Works a treat, smells tremendous too. Great value.

Car Chem 1900:1 or Obsession Custom Shampoo are my two favourites

Why not just use the shampoo from the Xtreme range?  The 2-1 works well.

Do you not have to rinse this off since it dries as well?

You're supposed to use it as a normal wash then and then use one cap in clean water as a rinse aid.  Sadly it doesn't hold up in this part but as a wash shampoo it works as good as any others I've tried.

Just ordered more Britemax CleanMax, it's by far the nicest shampoo I have ever used.

Just so happens - i got a freebie sample of this to try out..... enough for 3 washes!

Planning to give it a whirl at 3.30pm today when i finish work...

It's the best shampoo there is IMO (out of the ones I've tried if course)

I've now had great reviews on this shampoo from multiple sources;

plus i do believe Simon at iShine can get this in the 3.78L packs too.

Hmm, I'll be getting that when mine has run out.
