I run my climate control with the AC on all the time.

 

It's recently starting making a noise which sounds like someone breathing through a tube, almost like a scuba diver. It is audible above the radio at 30mph ish and is beginning to get on my tits.

 

Anyone else had this, or know if it is an indication of impending failure? I'm currently on 59500 miles so would like it sorted before the warranty runs out!

Is it from the fan motor/blower which is above the passengers feet ?

 

Had to replace mine recently , its a common fault

I don't know where it's coming from, all I know is that it stops if I turn off the climate & blower completely.

All I can suggest is that you put your ear to it , you need to narrow it down a bit

It's a cyclic noise, like someone breathing through a tube. It's at about that frequency.

I've had a similar symptom on my mondeo and it was the pollen filter blocked
