Hi all

 

my fabia has developed a fault.  the engine management light has come on and stays on and when i try to drive the car it shudders.  when the engine is revved it will not go above 2000 revs

 

anyone any ideas?

Yes, get the fault codes read and post 'em here.

 

If your 1.4 is the early one with the single coil pack then replace it and the plugs and leads as well.

Get the fault codes...

 

Needs either:-

1) A mate or pub-mate with proper diagnostics or VCDS (vag-com).

2) or - a code reader off eBay etc.

3) or - A bluetooth dongle and the torque app for you android phone.... Or similar if you're an iFan....
