Featured Replies

Just had car mot'd, noproblems except for horn not wworking.Checked fuse ok, but cannot find relay or horn!

Horns are behind front bumper under the n/s headlamp.

Not sure on the relay though

Relay is on the relay plate under the dash near the steering column. Not sure which one of the many.

Fuse is F40 5A - is this the one you checked.

Have you had the steering wheel off recently? One possible cause of no horn is the clock springs and brushes not making contact at the back of the wheel.

When you press horn inside the car with ignition on no engine running do you hear a click noise? If you do that's the relay clicking which means the fuse is also Ok. Unplug the connection on the horn put a test light down the black and yellow wire and the other side down the brown wire. Press the horn and watch the test light if it lights up then your horn is faulty.
