Wayward Vacuum hose

Featured Replies

Hello all.

I have accidentally knocked off a vacuum hose whilst under the bonnet this morning and cannot find where it should plug back in. I have the 110hp diesel engine. Here are a couple of photos of the offending part. Can someone advise where it goes, please?5

Can't see any photos mate. Ah there they are :peek:

What area was you working on to knock it?

Is there/ should there be one on the top of the turbo actuator?

I would not mind betting that was meant to plug into the 'T' junction between the vacuum pump and the solid brake line which which along the bulk head to the brake servo.

See the t-junction bottom middle of this diagram.  Otherwise it could be the return vent to the air filter - pushed onto the aif filter housing on the top left corner (under where the main exit air pipe is.

Otherwise trace the other end of the pipe and you should be able to work it out from my diagram above.
