Well reading into the DAB thread. I noticed that on the Up forum Ldi (http://www.upownersclub.co.uk/forum/ldis-move-up-upg-to-high-up-mods-in-progress_topic5916_page3.html) had pictures of the twin window switches that he had illuminated the switches by soldering on surface mount LED's. This might mean that the existing single switch could be able to be converted to illumination?

It can. But you´ll need a new "button part" from a Golf 5/6 or similar. The standard "button" upper part of the window switch on a Citigo is just black plastic, where light can´t get through.
