Going to star performance in the morning for a re-map having spoken to the main man i was impressed by his knowledge and help have had the revo trial impressed by performance but pi$$ed off with certain aspects of the trial ...enough said......Has anybody got experience of the octavia 180bhp re map at star ....how was the transformation big happy power smiles...?????fuel economy at sensible driving speeds...power outputs ....getting a bit excited here....

not sure if i should say on a forum ....very happy with the way the car driving wise.

i bet that was a frustrating drive home with the Kids so you couldnt test it to its full potential.lol

Damn right it was Glasgow traffic was murder....took my auld fella out earlier when it dried up said he had a sore neck after it hahahaha only problem...... from reading other posts think i have a bit of overboost it seems to lurch a bit between 3-4krpm when is being booted ....have e-mail'd jim i am sure he will be able to sort it or advise me...I really cannot recommend Star performance enough ...this guy is great to deal with and know his stuff...

Just noticed this thread...............I had a switchable Star remap several months ago - no problems at all, apart from worse fuel consumption :eek: Mainly because you tend to use the power more I also got a CAI and Forge DV - highly recommended
