Panoramic sunroof on a Twindoor?

Featured Replies

I discovered something odd at the Paris Motorshow yesterday on the Tour De France pace car... It had a panoramic sunroof!

I've never seen this option available on any Twindoor so how did they manage that!

I've got to say I'd love one of their bikes!

A total guess here. As Skoda are the official partner( or whatever their called) to the Tour de France this cheeky extra enables the teams mechanics, managers, dietician and medics to sort there riders out when the need arises, the rider holds the wing mirror or door if the window's open. if the roof does not open then not a clue. Skoda should make this available to the masses though.

I think it was identical to the Combi's set up with its panoramic roof controls

Someone on here has bought a Skoda bike IIRC.

Should think the sunroof is a "special" build - the red ones are the "commissaires" cars, you often see them standing up hanging out the sunroof as they come into the end of the stages.

The roof rails are also not available on the twindoor AFAIK, so the sunroof isn't the only thing not available in a standard build.

Just the paint would be nice.

I'm surprised the Superb isn't offered in more colours to be honest...the MK1 was available in Corrida Red ( I think) , and Night Fire blue (Similar to Race Blue)

Not as limited as Audi though where the colour palette doesn't extend much beyond black and grey, unless you want to pay silly money for a bespoke colour.
