Which car would you choose?

Featured Replies

I've had a great few days working in Monaco and seen some amazing cars, even having a sneaky sit in a few. But if you could pick any but just one car, which would it be?

I did rather like this Farrari we came across :)

Are running costs involved and can I own my current car alongside it :D?

If I don't have to pay for upkeep & I can keep my octavia, a Mclaren F1.

If I do have to pay for upkeep & I can't keep my octavia, an impreza sti hatchback.

If I don't have to pay for upkeep & I can't keep my octavia, an RS6 estate :D

I have thought these things through many times. Now I just need someone to come along and offer me any car I want.

Nice, looks like it's parked round the back of the building opposite the Musée océanographique up in the old town.

I liked to watch up in Casino Square to see what drives round, also the Car Park on Ave de la Costa has some nice cars stored in it, always feel quite happy parking there.

It was!!! Well spotted, had fun popping into the various dealerships and having the sales reps sucking up to us (was with a local and rather wealthy guy), certainly is another world but not for me.

I've played that game too :)

Koenigsegg Agera

Koenigsegg is building the Lambos that Lambo is too scared to build any more.

Pork 918 all day long.

Mk2 Escort in full Rally spec :)

Pork 918 all day long.

Me too.

The figures and specs on those things look truly mind blowing

I was drooling over your dream Mk1 escort being shown at a local car show, nice motor :)

We saw a few of those, really nice up close, the 918 Spyder was really nice too.

I believe it's only made as a spyder.

An amazing achievement and my car of choice over a McLaren P1 or a La Ferrari any day.

Which coming from someone that typically doesn't like Porsche is saying something! :D

Ahh didn't realise it was a detachable roof, looks good with it on and off then.

Metro 6r4 for me...

Or a pristine mitsubishi GTO twin turbo with all the toys :)

Not into all those Lambo, Fezza, McLaren type motors,   I would have something more classic,  Metro 6r4 has been mentioned, I'll have one as well.

Starting to think that if i was to live with only one car from now on,

it would be a Porsche Macan, petrol powered not Heavy Oil.

Porsche 959, I have a real soft spot for these

I've wanted a Vauxhall Firenza as long as I can remember. That and a Mk1 Ford Granada Coupe.

Modern day stuff I'd have a Skyline GTR

Restomodded classic Range Rover with Corvette motor and 6 speed autobox for fetching wine from south of France.

There is a guy stateside producing a very neat conversion. A few Bowler bits to upgrade the brakes, steering and suspension. Full monte interior, proper aircon & heating. Recaro ergo seats.... give me time to come up with the complete spec.

+ A Singer restomod 911. http://singervehicledesign.com/ if only for the Heuer chronograph. And the way it looks. And the way it reportedly goes. And. And. And....

Blank cheques to my PO box, c/o The Big House with Big Walls, Fantasy Land.

I also have a fantasy bike list I've been working on.

Oh the choices.......

The Ferrari La Ferrari as an engineering achievement is incredible. But I suspect its success is the reason why the F1 team are struggling, so for that reason its a no from me.

The car I want to own more than any other at the moment is the Ferrari F12.
