MK3 Skoda Emblem

Featured Replies

I'll have a closer look at the new style badges when the new beast arrives in 2 weeks. Thought I was in the minority by not initially liking the new style but perhaps not..

Wouldn't life be boring if everyone agreed?

I think the new badge is a lot less fussy, just a pity i have a hatred of all fake chrome.

Old, new, black, carbon fibre, coloured. All the options are good, and mean we can have something individual :cocktail:

PlastiDip worked well on my car. Really easy to apply and nice to know it'll peel off if I want to restore it (something I've already had to do when I messed up the front badge).

And here's a close up of the kind of texture you get from the matt black:

That looks brilliant [emoji4]

I'll have to get my Plastidip out now [emoji106]

Is it  just me?

I cannot look at the Skoda motif without thinking of the evil penguin's cunning  disguise in Wallace and Gromit's "The Wrong Trousers"

Somebody pointed out to me many years ago when I first bought my Mk1 VRS, it looks a bit like a flying pen*s!
