Was there any software with your digital camera, or a mates ;) ? I'd imagine theres loads of different ones. They might not be much good but it would do what you want it for.

Ulead Video Studio came with my camera and is pretty ok and easy to use.

Another one which was on my PC is Nero VisionExpress, the Ulead seems easier to use though.

If you use windows XP then you could do this very easily with Movie Maker which as you may know comes free and should be sitting on your hard disk right now .

You can import digital stills besides video and esily put a music track over the top.

easy peasy !

i tried that earlier and it seems hard to edit, ie change the sequence time to match soundtrack, and other stuff, had a look at the ulead software and it looks like it will be great.cheers for the help lads.

I have used a couple.

photo2vcd professional is very good, although you will have to pay for it.

and I cant remember what the other one was. It came free a couple of months back on pc format. It was ok but you couldnt do any fade affects or anything.

Actually,I did a DVD of a recent bike trip with lots of video, stills and music tracks and found MovieMaker really easy. You can easily expand the lenghth of

time for showing stills to match music just by dragging the clip on the timeline.

Should have said, use the timeline, its much better.you can also drop in effects if you want.

Try it,it is quite good. The only thing is you will need something else to actually burn the DVD.
