Is it possible to adjust the consumption values to make them more accurate ?

It can be adjusted within VCDS but requires some trial and error and will never be completely accurate (deviations largely depend upon driving style and conditions). I find that around-town accuracy is pretty much spot-on within my VRS TSI but motorway mpg seems more optimistic. Over 5K miles my car indicates 28.1 mpg vs 27.8mpg recorded using brim to brim from new method. My car over-estimates by a little over 1%, which is good enough for me.

Yep - the adaptation channel is on controller 17 Instruments
