Dump valves ?

Featured Replies

Hey , I have a 2.0t fsi skoda octavia on a 08 plate the question is I'm guessing there is a dump valve on the car at the min but can it be changed to a waste gate instead and anyone have any links to them ?

The wastegate and dv are 2 totally different things.

Oh I see so if I want more Pptttsshhh what will I need to do ?

Fit an intake such as Neuspeed or Evoms (open cone). That'll give you the noise you want.

Also check your DV; may be worth changing for a Rev D (as a maintenance precaution).

I fitted a revision D dv and a forge spacer, plenty loud enough even now I've put my standard intake bk on

I forgot about the Forge Spacer option. Good call!

So a revision D ?? Any links ?? And also forge spacer option ?? Again any links ?

Seen as your local, shark performance in Mansfield stock revision D dv's.

I run the forge spacer but the others may work.

Snh they easy to fit ? Any difference to the standard ?

Easy enough tbh. 30 mins, it's situated behind the drivers front wheel so once that's off and the arch liner you'll see it. 3 Allen head bolts and its off. Spacer fits inbetween the dv and you get longer bolts with it anyway
