Mud flaps front and back VRSII

Featured Replies

I know this has been asked and yes I did try the search function but didn't find the answers I was after.......

I am trying to fit both front and rear mud flaps

To my oct VRSII but can't seem to find the right ones....

Skoda were no help :-/

Seen a few people on here with them fitted so part numbers and or a link would be great :)

Standard Mud Flaps DO  a MKII Vrs, I had them on Ambrosia. Front and back

Whether or not they fit is secondary to the fact that there will be a gap left to store the attracted grime! Just referring to the rears of course.

Tbh not massively bothered about a gap just need something as it looks plain without something there!! ;)

I bought the standard Octavia ones from Skoda recently. The front ones fit nicely but the rear ones stick out too much so I just went with the front ones. The material rearward of the rear wheel is just plastic anyway so stone chips aren't such an issue.

I fitted standard on the rear, as above says bucket of hot water makes them supple mine have gap as well but does not bother me.

That's the thing Paul, the gap isn't that big at all - until you start to see the detritus that can only be jet washed out.

Here's my old car with just the front ones fitted.

Now that looks smart :)

Mine's a pre facelift combi so that may make a difference, but the rear mudflaps fit fine.

I guess any unsealed joint will let in a certain amount of muck, but there doesn't seem much in mine.

Just come back from southern France, two days in the rain and slime of harvest time. I find the flaps at least keep the muck below window level, which is nice on the journey at least.
