Colour will alwasy have an effect on the colour of the car, and it is all down to personal taste. the miles appears average for the age of the car( working on approx 11k miles per year ).

Price, WELL you got me there, :) an online search ( google) should get you an average price for the model /year Im sure someone will come along and confrim.

I just got my dark blue 4x4t with 21k on the clock for

The mileage on that is above average, but Parkers reckons a car with 40k miles should be up for 6.5k on a main dealer forecourt or 5.9k on an independent's forecourt, so price is probably about right. Colour will determine how desirable the car is so you might be able to push for a discount if you'd prefer a different colour and they want to shift it, but remember that come resale time, you'll be the one trying to sell it!

Worth going through the Vauxhall used car valuer too to find out a trade price for the car (I can't seem to get to the Vauxhall site at the mo) to give you an idea of what it's worth to them and how much to push :D

Insurance shouldn't be affected - I've certainly never had an insurance company ask me to confirm the colour of my cars :D

Skoda advertise Cayenne Metallic as "Orange" for some reason.

Was it this colour?

If anything it's a bit lighter than the pictures suggests.
