Now pretty much locked down my choices for the new car but due to the new brochure, I need to clarify a few things which are unclear if I can?

1. Seen a thread where Mitsumi is not req'd to run an iPod on the Columbus system. Does this give full playback options? I will be using an iPod nano 4 th gen with a lightning converter most likely.

2. If Mitsumi is not req'd why is it specified still as an apple specific feature, does it do more?

3. I want a black grille but colour coded mirrors ( I'm having metal grey) do I have to have both presuming the standard grille has a Chrome trim?

3. I'm having the Bluetooth plus which I understand uses the ashtray in front if the gear selector? Do I need to add the smokers pack too to get said ashtray? ( I don't smoke but use the 12 v socket and like the ashtray as a storage option)

You get a 12v socket without the smokers pack.

As for Columbus, you're right you don't need mitsumi as it's all built in

It's an option for all the other infotainment systems. If you use the online configurator you'll see it gets greyed out if you choose Columbus.
