Sounds like you are on top of things with decent products and routine!

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of the fully detailed car and your thoughts on the products used.  :)

Will do. I will get them ordered this evening. First clean will be next Sunday!

Hi. I have a candy white superb and got some great detailing advice from Chris. One of the things he suggested was Poorboys White Diamond glaze. It's easy to use and brings the shine out a treat! You can then put the collinite on top of that.

Looks great Mike

Thanks, Chris.

Looking good Mike. How long can you keep it like that?

Until I sell it...hopefully. Although the tractor traffic around here will keep me on my toes!!! (from now until about March the roads are almost permanently muddy...and I do mean muddy!!!)

Well watch this space..

All the products have arrived and will be treating my superb to the works tomorrow. That's if it doesn't rain.

I'll get some pics up once I have finished

Pictures are mandatory

Eventually got round to uploading the pics. Apologies.

Two bucket wash with mags gold shine, followed by a micro fibre towel to dry. Collinite 845 liquid insulate wax followed by a helping of sonax bsd. I am really chuffed with the results of the collinite and sonax. Will defo be buying some more of that when it runs out, Autoglym fast glass for the windows.

After 3.5 hours I lost the will the live to do the inside. It's a big car!!!

Quick question...what is the best product to use to keep the leather in tip top condition..

Nice job. Looks great. My car is also a white Superb and I use Colinite to at the moment and it's pretty good. Leather wise I've ordered some FAB and some Gliptone conditioner. Others use different things such as dr leather wipes. I'm sure you'll get a few suggestions. Btw, like the alloys! Better than what I have on!

All you need is a leather cleaner and a protector. You don't need to condition modern leather.

As above Dr Leather wipes followed by Gtechniq L1 works well.

Wow - very nice job there - the car looks absolutely stunning!

Certainly worth the wait to see your handy work

Leather care - Dr leather wipes (as mentioned above) are good and very handy;

or look into Gliptone or LTT leather care products - both very very good.

Thanks guys! I am absolutely chuffed to bits with the results. I am over the moon with the car to be honest. Best car I have ever had!

I was really impressed with the collinite 845. Very easy to apply and work with and the Sonax just works a treat.

I will have a look at the leather car stuff.

I have used the collinite once and its great. So easy to apply and work with.

Alloys were standard on the elegance spec. I really like them as well! :sun:
