Featured Replies

Hi just about to order a set of mats online for my superb estate but I don't know whether to order oval or round fitments, how do I know which is mine? on the website they both fit on to a round fitment?

any help much appreciated.

thanks

What do you have on your carpet for the mats to clip onto?  Round pegs, oval pegs, or no pegs?

I have round pegs

not as clear cut as that though ......

on the website that im looking at it says .... "oval clip receptors to match the round fixing stud which should be fitted in the car"  and for the round ones it says "round clip receptors to match the round fixing stud which should be fitted in the car"

why sell both fitment is the same ?/confused!

Do the mats not come with the correct clips, just unscrew the ones fitted, if there not right and screw in the correct ones.

This genuine Skoda retailer claims these rubber mats fit all Twindoor Superb's from 2008 and all estates from 2010.

This says to me that the floor fixing system on a 2014 Superb is the same as in my 2011 model which suggests you need to round pushfit system.

These mats...

...push fit onto these studs that are already fitted to the cars carpet...

On older Skoda models there was a transition from oval to round which meant a lot of people trying to fit their old (twist fit) mats into their new cars (push fit recepticles) came across this issue...

So basically you need the mats that are pictured right at the top of my post - push fit (round) mats to fit the push fit (round) recepticles.

Paste the link to the website you are looking on...
