BUYING ADVICE NEEDED. 2.0 TFSI VRS

Featured Replies

Have seen a 2006 Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0 TFSI. Only thing I'm worried about is the cambelt hasn't been changed and its done 67k on the clock. Does anyone know what the cost of changing the cambelt is on one of these and would it be Ok that the cambelt hasn't been changed at 67k?

Golden rule ..always put a cambelt on even if it's not due...plus it is well over due. Just budget £200 to cover it ..i work on the theory 30k or 4 year whatever car it is..manufacturers change intervals to suit themselves or when they start getting premature failures.
