My car keeps unlocking itself and winding the windows down when im not in it. Any ideas guys.

Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk 2

I thought mine was doing this when I went out to get something and the windows were down while it was pouring with rain.

I then found out my 3-year-old daughter had been 'playing' with the fob in the front room  :wall:

Do you have kids?

Water ingress into the electrics of the drivers door, which is making the car think the key is being turned in the lock to unlock (and roll down) the windows.

As Above, either that or the module on the window regulator has moisture in it, which i recently discovered with mines.

Or a broken wire between the door and the A pillar.  Either way, check for water ingress, and broken/insulation in/around/near the drivers door.

Does this count as the first "water ingress" or "help, my octy's leaking" thread of.this autumn/winter season....

And it seems like the "my car is saying it's overheating when it's stone cold" (expansion bottle sensor) threads have never actually stopped from last Autumn.
