Hi, interested but not sure if 16" are a standard size on the Roomster? Do they have to be declared to insurance as a modification?

According to my 2009 (pre-facelift) brochure:

16" wheels were standard on Roomster Scout only, with 17" wheels available as an extra cost option.

15" wheels were standard on all other models, with 16" wheels available as an extra cost option.

 

I am reasonably certain this will also apply to post-facelift models.

 

It's best to declare any modification to your insurance company.

They have all joined the real world now and you therefore wont have to pay any extra premium
