Placed order on Saturday, and have had communication to say that build has been accepted and estimated build date is week 51 :-)

Still a long way to go... But it's a little bit closer!!

Not so far away. I think after the car has been built and left the factory it could be around 3 weeks to hit the dealer.

 

What spec have you gone for?

I'm interested too as I placed order on Saturday 11th and dealer reckons it will be another two weeks before even a provisional build week is given

It's a 150ps 4x4 elegance estate, with a few bits....

Yeah maybe they had a build slot anyway and I got it.... Hopefully January sometime :-)

Ouch...I ordered mine on Aug 1, and am not expecting it till Jan, either.

I ordered a Scout DSG on the 14th of Oct and was given a estimated BW 49, can but hope but expect it to be January at best! :sun:

so 4 years ago.... just about to the day, I ordered my van VW transporter 4motion 140 blah blah blah, was a factory order... estimated 14 week lead time......

 

2 weeks later the turbo failed on my d***o and the van seized ( I then bought a 15 year old transit for £500 and waited it out) van went on the road 7th feb

 

 

my luck has not changed in 4 years, at the weekend the head gasket failed on my seat altea :-0

 

so please can you keep your fingers crossed for my build week.....  we've got a Mazda Bongo which will now become family car, but not sure Lucy will enjoy driving 2tons of rwd auto home from a nightshift, in the ice and snow!

I just got the word; my car has been built! It is now waiting for a ship to Oz.

It's a 103TSI Estate, 6spd manual with sunroof, Bolero, and Canton, in Moon White. Ordered Aug 1.
