Cold = Freezing / Hot = lukewarm

Featured Replies

Started to use my heaters as the colder weather draws in and noticed that the heaters do not get hot at all during my journey no matter what the distance.

The hot is only slightly warm and cold is freezing.

Any idea what I can do to rectify please?

I presume that the engine is actually coming up to temperature.

It's probably either an air lock in the heater pipework, or a stuck flap valve in the mixer box. If the heater hoses are squeezy, and not getting hot when the engine is, then it's an air lock.

Thermostat stuck?

I've kinda got the same problem but mine sometimes get stuck on hot.

That is the flap motor.
