Crack on manifold :(

Featured Replies

Afternoon ladies and gents,

Just got a phone call from a garage that I'd dropped my car off to, and he said he found the problem with my loud manifold, it's got a crack on the bottom and the top of it :(

And also he was going to replace he fuel filter for me and it looks like it's been tampered with and he couldn't do it!

So has anybody got a spare manifold I could buy off? And how would I go about the fuel filter?

Thanks :)

Search seller spencersautosalvage on ebay. Hes right next door to the one mikec posted and hes got 20vt cars in breaking so might be worth contacting him to see if he could it cheaper. Plus spencer is a sound guy

Soundo man can try him, thanks! :)

Make sure you examine any second-hand exhaust manifold extremely carefully, especially around the turbo flange. They all seem to be prone to cracking, especially if cars have been mapped and the exhaust gas temperatures have gone through the roof.
