Fitting instructions for RARB

Featured Replies

Has anyone got fitting instructions for a RARB on a Mk2 FL VRS?

Tried Google, but nothing has come up if any use

Really not difficult. Two brackets and fitted to either end of the arb link on each side. May have to replace them as the are a bit of a pig to remove if on the car for a few years, so usually just cut off.

F&R sway bar installs - go to 11.05 for rear

Check your bolt types before starting as they vary.

I took mine to TLC just outside Canterbury, and they charged £35, plus they gave the car a good look over underneath as only have 8k or until end feb warranty remaining.

You could find someone local to fit as its only 30mins?

I have a local place that will charge an hours labour, they come recommended too, but I'm a gluten for punishment and thought about trying it myself

The above link should cover it. Only don't use stainless fasteners, not really suitable.

There have been issues for some with squeeks, careful alignment of the mounting brackets seemed to improve this. Someone mentioned that later model ones had different bushes which were supposed to address this. Not absolutely sure which brand had the non squeek bushes now.

My Whiteline has always been quiet (so far).

My whiteline had newer bushes which specifically stated they were grease free and not to apply grease.

So far no squeaks
