window regulator question

Featured Replies

Some nob head broke into my car robbing a 1gb usb, rolling tabacco ( not the rizla and filters) and a broken parrot handsfree. Big scoop there! However when i have taken the car to autoglass they said they couldn't fit the new window as my regulator was damaged. When i operate the switch it goes up and down but apparently part of the assembly has come off, i no pictures would be amazing but at the moment i am pictureless! The part he showed me is a small piece of plastic i think (its still in the door) and i also think its part that the window sits on, would this piece be likely to fall off if the window was destroyed? Or would it break perhaps? I dont want to buy new parts if its just fallen off! I will try and get a picture as soon as i can!!!

cheers

The white plastic bits often break in normal use, so if the window has been subjected to force it could have broken them.
