I have my Old Flabio for a week of fun so heading off on a East, North & West Coast 1000 of easy driving...

New Oil & Filter & Plugs and putting out 200bhp+ on the dyno with some lovely 102 ron in to see how it was behaving.

What pump fuel is 102 RON?

None in the UK.

Hiperflo 250 is £71 for 25 litres from Vitalequipment. 

All used up now in the tank and back to 99 ron, and it is not that noticeable difference.

I have 20 litres of 102 ron carried in cans because getting super unleaded north of Inverness is hit and miss.

Ahhh right, I did wonder, as a mates grp n rally car runs on 102/105 from Vital...smells divine I think!

I was keeping my 'Old Flabio' as a 'future classic' but it is now heading off to pastures new because i got an offer i would have been stupid to turn down.

Off on Tuesday but it has just had its last blast as the deal is done and not risking breaking it.

So what was £15,500 grand to someone in 2010 only lost £10,500 in 7 years, so with servicing and consumables / parts £2,000 a year to run a fun cars seems OK.

The thread was started on how many members here were still driving their Twinchargers, 

but i was having a look at how many were still showing as on the road or SORN'd.

 

At the highest in Q4 2014 it was 2846 & 10 on SORN so 2,856.

          showing in Q1 2019 it was 2670 & 54 on SORN so 2,724.  That is down 132 that are broken/scrapped, exported or gone for some reason.
