Goodbye Monte

Featured Replies

After two excellent years service my Monte was written off by a speeding motorcyclist.... Amazingly no one was killed, but it so easily could've turned that way.....had he have impacted just a foot further to the left he almost certainly would've killed us both.....

My new weapon of choice is a brand new Octavia Elegance 2.0tdi with a few tasty options...

Having spent 11 years on the mk1 Octavia forum & the last 2 years on the mk2 Fabia forum I can honestly say Briskoda is the best arena for any Skoda driver in the world - thank you to all on this forum for their input/advice and help over the last few years!!!

Best wishes,

Steve :)

Sorry to hear of your accident.

I hope you and the M/C's were OK.

Enjoy your new car.

Glad it wasn't more serious. Hearing stories like yours really makes me realise that this driving lark can be dangerous!

Enjoy the new motor, it songs like a nice step up from the Monte. :-)

Sorry to hear about the accident! Glad everybodys okay. I imagine the motorcyclist got off a lot worse?

I take it it was a side impact then?

The octys are nice. Sounds like youve got yourself a nice motor there :). Enjoy it!
