As per the title really. I have an annoying rattle at tickover only, seemingly drivers side. Very audible from within the cabin, less so externally. Doesn't do it when the car is cold, only when hot, more so after an extended run.

It's been up on the ramp and nothing obvious is adrift. The heat shield and exhaust are both ok.

Any other obvious candidates I should consider?

Fuel pipes rubbing on each other?

hi, I have a similar rattle on tickover, which appears to be behind the dash, i'm in the middle of trying to install an electric aux heater so need to be under the dash where the pedals are so I will be tracing the noise whilst i'm in there. i'll let you know of the results to see if it helps you.

Mine was the bonnet stay tapping on slam panel! You'll not find it with bonnet up as it's in use!

Bit of black tape in various places cured it... You should be able to tell if yours is doing it as slam panel scratched..

I may have traced it.....

The silver centre section of the stock air filter housing with the Skoda badge and fsi turbo lettering has two plastic clips at the front, one of which is broken.

Does the silver bit have any purpose other than decorative or can it come off entirely if tape doesn't stop it rattling?

Ok, no I haven't traced it! It appears to be getting worse, any other suggestions welcomed.
