Replacement key fob

Featured Replies

Hi,

The lock button on my key fob has just stopped working.

Has anybody any experience with obtaining a replacement, prices etc.?

The car has done 70000 in 2 years 10 months, first problem to date.

Many thanks.

Best regards,

Kevin.

Look on the group buys section Kevin. Cheaper than going to the main dealer.

Thanks for the heads up.

I found a repair service on ebay, £17.

The key was posted to them on Monday, returned today (Wednesday) with button repaired. Received a call yesterday to say key was ready and they were checking what car it was for so they could supply any resynchronisation advice that may be needed. They confirmed no resynchronisation would be needed for the Superb. I can only recommend the service supplied.

If anybody else is interested it can be found searching for skoda remote repair on ebay. Seller is oppysteve.

Regards,

Kevin.
