Hi, have you lost the locking nut key?

No I did loose it but the previous owner of the car didn't give one to me. He didn't inform me that I need one.

Skoda Roomster 2011. Will one of these be ok for my car?

I believe the key has a letter inscribed on the end, you would need to know what letter the bolts are on your car. They are not all the same.

Mine went missing when I left it in one of my tool boxes. Lent the tools to one of my lads to do a job on his van, he sold the van but forgot to take the tools out of the van. I didn't realize until the morning i'd booked the roomster in for some tyres, no locking nut or toolbox. Called into my local Skoda dealer on the way, thinking they would say "you'll hav to book it in" as usual, to my surprise the guy said "no problem, bring it round the back" , 10mins later, old lock nuts off, new ones fitted, £20 including lock nuts, and wasn't late for new tyres. Take what you want from my little story.

Yeah, there is probably only 10-15 different key combinations, and the dealer had them all

It included the new lock nuts. The only thing was, the plastic cap didn't fit. I was just glad they got the lock nuts off, the tyre place wanted £10 a piece to take them off. :coffee:
