Rain pouring in drivers window

Featured Replies

I've noticed that if I wind down the drivers window ( at say a drive through ) and it's raining, rain pours in and onto the electric window controls.... and I mean a lot of water !!

Does anyone elses do this or have I a problem with the way the rain is being routed off the roof ?

It's a common problem with all. My Octavia,Citigo and my Rapid do it. Fitting wind deflectors is one cure.

To understand the design, ask yourself the following question, in a German accent: "Why would you want to open the windows in the rain?" :)

..........to collect your burger of course......... :giggle:

this is a common thing on my paid and my past fabia   also on a mates golf.  not that I actually eat burgers   to unheathy

Even worse if you have a super shiney car with plenty of wax on it's roof, if don't half shoot off that roof quickly, onto your lap if you are unlucky. :rain::o

Tell me about it!   Getting out of the car park at work I have to swipe the pass at the barrier - getting drenched every day this week!

oh the good old days when cars had a rain channel around the roof

With a rain channel you had someware to fix the universal roof rack !
