How To You Report To Highways Agency?

Featured Replies

Tonight, poor Roger Rapid is getting a new windscreen.   He is only 5 months old, Bless Him, but twice his windscreen has been hit on the same stretch of motorway.   The first time was a tiny pebble which caused a chip which Autoglass repaired.   Two days ago, a stone the size of a golf ball hit the top of the screen and penetrated through both laminated layers showering me with glass fragments.   I am very lucky the stone didn't come all the way through as it would have been in line with my head!

The area is the A329M near Wokingham at the junction of the M4 where there are earthworks being done.   Signs warning about "loose chippings" are evident (but should that even be allowed on a motorway?) but the stones that are lying around are much bigger.

Someone needs to know about this as it's only a matter of time before these earthworks kill somebody.
