10 New Skoda Cars In 9 Months - Now That's A Hit Rate!

Featured Replies

So who here can beat that! lol

It all started with a written off Toyota Auris - my wifes car.  It was time to get a bang up to date car for safety and for her feeling of security.  Then this happened -

Octavia 2.0 150 Elegance Manual Estate - for her

Superb 170 Elegance Twindoor manual - for me (replaced Saab 9-5 Vector Sport 1.0 TiD)

Fabia 1.2 TSi DSG Elegance with options - for mum

Citigo 1.0 SE 3 door - for sister

Yeti 140 4x4 Tour de France - to replace above Octavia

Superb 140 4x4 Tour de France Outdoor - to replace above Superb

Superb 140 Black Edition estate - arranged for co-worker

Octavia 150 Elegance manual Hatch in Topaz brown - arranged for co-worker

Citigo 1.0 SE 5 Door - arranged for co-worker

Citigo 1.0 Monte Carlo in white - to replace Tour de France Superb

So that's 5 for me and wife, 7 if you include family and 10 if you include folk i work with (everything was arranged for them by me).

All bar the last one were all from same dealer and all new vehicles.

So, question is, will i get some recognition from Skoda for our long lasting (yet sudden) commitment?!  You can certainly see my roots in car sales!

Good going eh?

Dave :-)

Not bad.

In 9 months? You're giving BossFox a run for his money soon :D

What was that about a recession?

Just curious why you went through 2 superbs in such a short period of time?  :)

Purely because i fancied a change and that i liked the look of the Outdoor with its anthacite wheels - estate looks better too.  Although i did lose, full leather, electric seats, heated seats and heated screen.

Superb to Citigo? That is quite a change of style! If you don't get at least a gold plated Christmas card from your dealer then something is wrong!

Oh, and when are you due a new Roomster - you can't miss out on a full house :)

Needs the Rapid as well for a full house. ;)

+ Rapid.

+ Rapid.

Note to self: Less haste, more speed... (though having had both cars as courtesy cars, I'd have the Roomster over the Rapid any day)

Quite right. Hurry up and make it 12 new cars :)

Agreed, Roomster FTW! :)

I have driven a Roomster in the past.  I may have considered driving one again but as i have put on wait since that day, my brown paper bag will no longer fit.

Given the right encouragement, i'd probably have a Spaceback with the right look / equipment but not a fan to be honest.
