Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help me with this issue? The exhaust systems light and glow plug light are illuminated on the dash and the car keeps going into limp home mode.

I managed to get it into my local Skoda dealership last Thursday but they could only see me at 4pm very quickly. They reset the faults on the car and the guy at the garage said if it comes back on then it might be the egr or something else but I cant remember what.

They now cant get me in until the 25th of November to find out the issue and resolve it.

 

After reading many horror stories about egr's online with Skoda's I'm starting to panic about the cost as in my naivety I didn't extend my warranty when it finished in September.

I've always fixed my cars myself in the past but this is the first car I've had with so many complicated electronics so I'm slightly stumped. I could ideally do with being able to find out fault codes so I know what's wrong exactly and stop the panicking to see if I could resolve it myself but find the £60 prices for a diagnostic a lil steep (or I'm just cheap)

 

HELP PLEASE!!
