Monte Carlo Tech Edition All Same?

Featured Replies

1000 Tech models were produced

Of the 1000 tech models produced, how many were Estates?

The only missing on the Tech model that I wanted was Cruise; which I later had retrofitted.

Of the original 1000 Techs, none were estates, all were hatches. I wanted an estate but there was no sign of any when I bought my Tech. They came out about 6 month later.

All the Tech 1.2TSI Hatches then Estates were Registered in the UK.

Not sure if they ever got to Registering / Selling all the 1.6 TDI CR they said they were producing / Importing.

Going on from George's post above the last link in the Monte Carlo Tech line up was the Black Edition which was also in Limited Numbers and in Hatch and Estate variants with the same engine line up as the existing Monte Carlo Tech Editions.

The only information I could find on it is the official Skoda release however this priced the cars starting at £15,295 OTR! and most people only paid the £11,990 OTR the same as the Red or White versions.

Black edition was petrol only.  It had parking sensors and heated seats as extras.

The post that you quoted was regarding a Monte Carlo Tech Black Edition purchased in late 2013 it was a 1.2 TSI 105PS and did not have parking sensors or heated seats.

I assumed you you were talking about the 2014 Fabia Black Edition, which was petrol only hatch and had nav, dab, heated seats etc.
