Thanks guys. Well I had to wait 3 years before my friend sold it... so was worth the wait. I'm the 3rd owner, VW finance first then my friend.....who bought it in 2006. It's now on 48k and is mainly standard.

Could be the angle at which I took the photo much higher and closer.. *shrugs* will take some more soon and see how it compares then.

Not much been happening to this, bar sailing through another MOT and service. Air filter so clean it can be used again LOL.

 

Nice trip to AMD today, thanks Rob for arranging this, to see what power it had left. Very nice compliments from AMD over it actually hitting the power it was supposed to as it was rare to see them in like that apparently.

 

A nice 177bhp with 179lb ft torque so very happy with that.

 

LM reps have now come off and some spare Spiders put on it to take it back to totally standard looking again.

how would people feel about eibach making custom mk1 spring set up was talking yesterday just another 10mm -15mm lower than the h and r

Some very hard work done by Group1 to bring my car up to scratch... is paying dividends.
