Results from my first attempt with a d/a

Featured Replies

After recently purchasing a Das6 Pro I've been busy over the weekend and have took a few pictures to show my efforts.

The pictures are from an iPhone so the quality is not the best but I'm quite pleased with the outcome. There are still some rds's but all the swirl marks and minor scratches have been eliminated then I gave it a coat of Carlack 68 nsc and a coat of Collinite476.

Well done, it looks very sharp, keep up the good work.

Nice work indeed mate - looks like you have a decent area to work on the car too;

the over head lighting should really help you work with the DA and assess the paint/imperfections.

Impressive first attempt!  :thumbup:

Thanks. Yeah I'm quite lucky that I have access to a workshop with a steam cleaner ect. Makes the whole process a little easier.

Just need a slightly more aggressive polish to get rid of the rds that are left it a shame my camera isn't a bit better I'd be able to show you what I mean but so far so good.

Really nice work

Lighting makes a big difference

Well done

no major dramas lol, probably over hyped that a bit, just finding swirling that couldn't be seen under normal light.

Ah I got ya.

Such as the lights inside the show halls at Ultimate Dubs!....  I spend too much of my time being distracted by imperfections.  :(

Really good gloss there buddy. A job well done.
