Hi,

 

Thought I'd throw this out for suggestions. I have a left side tail light that isn't working and more or less at the same time my right side brake light has stopped working too. Bulbs fine, fuses seem fine. Swap the globes around nothing either. Does anybody have any ideas what I should try next or what might be the cause?

Not massively sure where to start with that to be honest..

Tail light and brake light should be different bulb types, and so not interchangeable. See here.

To clarify I meant I was exchanging like for like from the other side of the car.

Ah sorry, I see. Corroded contacts?

Scrape the contacts clean where the bulb touches, apply a bit of vaselline.
