AUX input installation?

Featured Replies

I got a 56 plate Octavia with the stream sound system with 6 disc deck in boot. I want an aux port, but don't the best way to get one. Can anyone help?

hi mate this is something i have tried and worked a solution with, basically if you don't mind loosing 1disc slot, you can buy:

and carefully remove the pins remembering where they go, and attach them to your existing cd changer connector, what this does is it fools the radio into thinking your AUX is CD1, but of course you loose one of your 6 disc's

Clever idea but I use a Pama DAB streamer, plugs into cigarette lighter socket, tune into unused radio station and not only do you get the benefits of all DAB stations it also has a USB size charger port attatched and a mp3/iPod port, costs about £50 but so easy to use.

Unless you have a Stream MP3 the only way to get aux is per the above method. Using something that piggy backs the CD changer connection somehow.
