Used Octavia

Featured Replies

Is £7000 a good price for a used 57 plate octavia VRs with 59k miles?  FSH with cambelt changed at ~41k.

No leather, but has a higer spec stereo from the photos.

Thanks!

Doesnt look like a vRS interior ? I have a 57 vRS and the seats are 2 tone 1/2 leather with the vRS logo, that looks like bog standard cloth seats ? Stereo looks like a Bolero ?

The seats don't look very VRS spec. The steering wheel and gear knob don't appear right for the year either. Obviously they could have been switched/updated as they look like newer model items to me.

That interior picture isnt from that vrs,the door mirror is silver!

dealer appears to have a good few octavias for sale so pic from wrong car?

Also I haven't kept up with prices but my 58 petrol vrs was up for £7495 18 months ago on similar milage and I paid a good deal less, so shop around.

Believe me, I have. There is FA out there.  I've been car hunting since June...  Anything cheaper has double the mileage...

There's this one, but it's lesser specced I think and has been up on the site quite a while now...

looks like it has rear eletric windows, was that with a Jumbo box as an extra, no jumbo box. the seats are from an Elegance ( I think ) and the steering wheel should be 3 spoke

From the photo of the first car? As stated above, it's probably a site error as you can see from the wing mirror that is from another car entirely.

Where are you based , perhaps someone could go look at it for you for a few beer tokens

I'm only relatively up the road in newcastle (35 miles) so I'm planning a trip down dependant on the reply from the garage about better photos.

Interior pic is from a facelift as well whereas 07 plate is definitely prefl

£7k!

For a 7yr old Skoda. Come on. It's a good car but not that special.

I think dealers are having a laugh.

I agree, but I cannot find anything at a lower price, unless the mileage is 90k +. I'm not prepared to get a car that used, as this car is going to have to stay with me for a while yet.

looks like a dodgy seller to me, avoid! The numberplate looks familiar for some reason. Deffo not VRS spec interior and 7k for a non estate VRS at 7 years old seems a little high to me. Maybe a very high spec diesel Estate with a skoda approved dealer but not this.

Its MSB Skoda in Darlington.  Have received new pictures today, and can confirm the car has the two tone white/black leather/fabric seats.  Just a site cockup obviously.  I do agree that it is over priced going off the age/mileage however.

That's not a Bolero in there as it has the 3 buttons - it looks like an Amundsen sat nav unit

Certainly look like Elegance seats, but the car isn't Elegance spec as no jumbo box and has manual air con, not climatronic

But put the details in here:

https://www.carcheckuk.co.uk/

and it certainly comes back as a VRS.

Wondering if there is some history such as an interior fire which could explain the incorrect seats fitted?

It is a VRS.  The middle photo is a site error

Looks like whoever listed it needs re-training on how to use Autotrader
