I finally got round to fitting the DTUK pedal box to my Octavia tdi that I won a few weeks ago, so here is a quick review:

 

 

All I can say is wow, as it total transforms the drivability of the car even on economy mode,  which is what I have on most of the time.  I had considered purchasing one but had my doubts whether it will do much as kept on reading comments on the forums like just press the pedal down further if you want your can to go faster but it actually gets rid of that dead 1cm of pedal lag.   Now you just touch the pedal and the car response instantly and it is much easier to balance car on corners too as you can just dial just the right amount of throttle.  Another bonus of the modification is that it cost nothing to declare it on my insurance policy as it did not increase the bhp but it feels so much more responsive and nicer to drive.  A highly recommended mod for those after a more responsive pedal feel and want rid of that dead pedal lag.

 

 

I really want one for my mk3, already has the CRD-t on it which is awesome! Just can't justify the price even with any current offers. Shame I didn't win one on the competition :-(
