My gearbox is on it's way out, so I'm after a reconditioning company or a place to pick up a newly reconditioned gearboxes.

If anyone can help would much appreciate it.

Not really it's a bit hit and miss buying a second hand box, at least with a recon box you usually get a warrenty with it so should any issues arise you have a leg to stand on.

Either buying a newly recon box and part exchanging my old one in, or just recon my old box. But at the moment I have no routes to take.

yeh 6mths lol and as long as its standard and got full history had loads of claims refused in work mainly on the vauxhall m32 boxes

yes! but a diff makes them last longer as it distributes the power evenly they have what u call a floating diff same box as in the saab's and punto sport
