Hail Storm!

Featured Replies

We had a bad hail storm here in Brisbane yesterday. My car was parked out at work. I managed to cover the right side of bonnet and roof. Left side took a serious hit! Hails were not big enough to break the windscreen. Checked my car this morning expected to see a lot of dents. Surprisingly, there were no dents! not even a single one. Checked my colleague's car. It had handful of dents. Does Skoda use stronger metal than others? Or was it just a coincidence? Hope other members in Brisbane are safe!

I think you were just very lucky!

Perhaps you could show us photos of your colleague's car though. ;-)

I too would put it down to good fortune, at least the windscreen can be replaced easily and hopefully fairly cheaply. :)

Thanks guys. Yes, Same storm. I saw many cars with broken windows and bad dents on the road this morning. Luckily my area didn't get golf ball sized hails. Still it managed to break my house windows!
