Hi,

Is it possible and cost effective to retrofit the steering wheel controls as fiddling and navigating up and down with the stalk when driving is not good.

The wheels with them pre fitted are out there (Ebay for instance), and scarily expensive from what I've seen.

 

VCDS as usual is required to tell the wheel and stereo to talk to each other.

Not that hard too do

You need

mfsw buttons ( not a new steering wheel )

Airbag wiring for mfsw

2 wires ( one wire too ignition 12v+ and another too lin bus on the central electric bcm

Wiper stalk without trip buttons (not 100% needed but looks oem)
