Fabia III VRS

Featured Replies

Oh, and why would they only bring an action in Scotland?

Where is the server this is hosted on based?

Where is the forum owner based?

Where is VW Group based?

Where is the CEO of Skoda UK based?

There are a plethora of legal options open to people. There was a chap extradited to the U.S. very recently because he posted some anti-US stuff on a server based in the USA. That was all it took to get him extradited and locked up. If I read this post in France, I can bring legal action in France, because the offence was caused in France. And with the EU arrest warrant still in place, who knows where you could end up. I certainly wouldn't be challenging Billion-euro corporations to legal battles because you never know. You might just get what you wished for.

Yes we know that.

McDonalds the Fast Food people not the Hotel Chain took such actions.

(So Ronald McDonald not Donald MacDonald)

As i said already taking any actions on Defamation, you need to show your reputation is Defamed.

(Libel & Slander is an interesting one in Scottish Law.)

So lets see if the Volkswagen Groups Reputation is so good that truths can ruin that reputation.,

if they as a Global Corporation suffer losses due to some home truths on how they cost customers the loss of cash money.

Scotland.

& VW & Skoda have my Name, my Address & contact numbers, address & computer information.

It is nice to Talk.

& it is nice when someone can go to a Solicitor with Independent Engineers Reports, done for Individuals, Dealerships,

Extended Warranty Companies, and even parts suppliers.

VW really are not keen on these being published.

They usually do the right thing when asked nicely by those prepared to take legal action in the EU.

Trying to have a UK / Scottish Person arrested because they 'bad mouth' VW on Line will be lovely,

i am always up for free flights, and my soap on a rope collection is packed ready for the Holiday.

The Skoda CEO might make some public statement on the Companies failures now that there is reports

of there being honesty in the Company.

&

Then there is the Corporate man in charge in the UK.

he likes Press Releases on Sales Successes & Records Broken,

so maybe in 2015 he can make some public statements on the poor performance of Skoda UK's Customer Services,

& Dealerships,  especially  the After Sales Care and 'Warranty Management'.

just like the Australian CEO of VW Australia had to.

You see, I think your problem is that you don't think outside the box. VW Group won't chase you for defamation.

VW Group have solicitors that very much think BIG picture. If it transpires that you are indeed working alone or conspiring with others against the VW Group then that's an interesting position to be in.

And should you be in possession of VW Group (or their subsidiary companies) documents or data that they hold confidential and you are using that for purposes other than VW Group originally intended it then that's something you're very much likely to get arrested for. I believe that it might even be a specific criminal offence in Niedersachsen which owns 12-ish percent of VW Group.

So don't get too cocky - especially if that documentation you may or may not have originated in Germany or the Czech Republic.

Spoken with them.

It is you that is not in the picture, or in the loop.

Conspiracy is a big thing, and being open and public is hardly a Conspiracy,

Now misleading the DfT / VOSA or Government Ministers or EU Government Agencies,

that is something that any Corporation would have to be very careful about.

& Corporate Responsibility over Safety Critical Issues needs major considerations if there are

any avoidable accidents or incidents and there had been cover ups.

Now free board and lodgings would be nice for me,

but i can see some Executives that might not like having to assume the position.

Anyway, its only the Company Trying to be the Biggest Vehicle Manufacturer in the World carrying

on as they get away with.

3 Monkeys & treat them like Mushrooms.

Have a lovely time, and do not worry yourself over such trifling matters.

I've never claimed to be in the loop and I want to be very clear that I'm nothing to do with you or your campaign.

So, if I follow you, you have spoken with officials from Niedersachsen about the fact that you have leaked/stolen documents and data from VW Group?

And just to be absolutely clear, are you saying that VW Group, or some sub-part of their organisation has conspired to mislead DfT/VOSA?

I'm just quoting this because you do appear to be implying that VW Group or their representatives have indeed been involved in a criminal conspiracy. I can understand your interest in defamation now.

You can assume i imply what ever you want.

I will leave it un edited on here so it can be read as written, and also re-read what is written about who's Reports i have.

Yes, but you've said you have contact with whistleblowers?

Do you?

You can assume i imply what ever you want.

I don't think you can leave it like that?

ARE you saying that VW Group or any sub-part of that organisation (including dealers) have conspired to mislead the DfT/VOSA?

That's a really big claim if you are. And your somewhat snide response would seem to suggest that you have no evidence and you're just trying to be clever, throwing mud and hoping some of it sticks.

Yes i have lots of contacts with Whistle Blowers.

It is nice to talk, and no need for anyone to have Paper or Internet Documents that are not Public Information,

or available if you know where to get it legitimately,

or to form a Conspiracy.

I am saying what i said, & say often publicly.

you add to it all you like, and you make of it what you like.   Do not put words in my mouth though or spin on it.

'Throwing Mud and hoping some sticks'

Sharn hitting the fan sometime is more likely.

Right, then I would SERIOUSLY suggest you stop trying to be smart or you will get sued.

'Skarna',,   Seriously.

 well we will see.

Then maybe the Motoring Press & Publishers will run the story.

Where's this thread going, it's got nothing to do with the imaginary III vRS now.

Best just leave it wja96, you'll get nowhere with it now, we all know who the fountain of knowledge is on all things VAG and you're not allowed to disagree.

Edited by Gazbull17

You are very welcome to disagree with my opinions, your opinions are yours, as are your guesses.

The factual stuff is already well documented if you are talking mK2 Fabias, its easily researched.

As to MK3 Fabia vRS,

Skoda statements or actually the Skoda CEO's reported Quotes on 'No more Fabia vRS' etc is all in Print, August 2013,

& then other stuff from other Skoda employees on MK3's.

& then Insiders Hints & Faceook posts from supposed Skoda Media are all there, telling us little about much other

than 'At Launch', & what there will or will not be.

The snagging point made by goneofskee seemes to be a German thing they do the same with all bmw bikes, just keep repeating zer is nothing wrong wiz it,until forced to admit it usually years down the line.

Lets face facts it doesnt matter about any mechanical faults or sales figures, it comes down to money.

As skoda has made more of a name for itself the prices have gone up, so whereas everybody started buying skodas as they were cheaper than vw and audi but used the same parts, now they are pretty much priced the same as vw.

when push comes to shove people would rather buy vw as skoda still has a slight stigma.

Its obvious they have limited models and engines in the fabia 3 to save money, and if they did a vrs looking at the prices of the standard cars they assumed noone would buy it because it would be too expensive.

On the up side since each fabia has done a run of around 7 years, it means they have 7 years to change their minds and do a limited number of vrs which will sell better and hold value better.

I spent many years with Peugeot 306 gti/rallyes so it was with trepidation that many years ago I made the move to the Mark 1 VRS. It took a while to get it right and indeed now it is with its brand new out of box PD150 Garrett turbo and Geartech gearbox upgrade plus a sensible torque biased remap that why in God’s name would I want a bloody Mark 3 without a decent diesel engine? They didn’t get it right with the Mark two which in my opinion is too tall and thin in shape let alone the fact that I would have had to switch from diesel back to a petrol 1.4 TSI to get more speed and now the Mark 3 is supposed to live with same old Micky Mouse engines. I might have to switch Marques again.

In fact they can't bring out a decent 2 L diesel engine Fabia because that's in the Audi A1 with 170 bhp and it costs a lot more and while there are suckers willing to

pay large sums of money for the luxury brand why put the same engine in the so-called cheap brand? It's so corporate communications multi national human resources bull.

It definitely reminds me of when Peugeot decided to kill off its good looking high performance cars though with Peugeot that was an own goal with VAG its what I claim above.

Looks like a RenaultSport Clio for my next car especially as my local Skoda dealer is finishing the Skoda franchise and moving to Dacia-Renault and I do not want to deal with a soul-less Skoda franchise chain.   Only change is the certainty.

Nothing wrong with Renault at all. I can remember the Renault 5 GT Turbo. That was really juicy. Years ago Citroen must have become the home of many ex Peugeot people and for good reason.

Strange machine the R5 turbo.

"a pushrod 1.4-litre carb-fed gasper also used in the miserable Volvo 340, but here fitted with a Garrett T2 turbo and an air-to-air intercooler. The net result was 115bhp and 121lb ft. In a modern context this might sound dismal, but in 1985, in a car weighing just 853kg, it was genuinely impressive".

Even Rowan Atkinson use to race one I recall.

Only had a ordinary R5, was OK, not safe in an accident and then a Renault 18, very comfortable.

Tired of being messed around by Skoda/VAG.

Not sure what is happening with Citreon-Peugeot as they are now part owned by the Chinese it will be interesting, like Volvo, what direction they take.

Clio seems like a natural progression from the Mk 2 Fabia VRS.

Very true to a point. Wife and daughter hit a tree in one. Luckily both lived to tell the tale.

The issue with a Clio RS 200 1.6T becomes apparent when you drive one back to back with a Twincharger / DSG.

Interior & handling all to my liking,

(and fit and finish and importantly is the handling which is what a Hot Hatch should have.)

If the gearbox worked like a DSG or Alfas TCT it would be really good, & a Clio RS200 1.6T Estate could be really handy.

Might be a patent thing I am guessing.

Change time is several times slower than the VAG DSG but then it is several tenths quicker to 60 mph.

Onboard graphic are awesome if not a little childish and the sound feedback ie choose your Clio V6 or Nissan GTR sound ffedback a bit sad IMO.

If I can get a good deal then I am tempted and I am struggling to think what else would be on the shortlist.  Needs to be Auto, needs to be 0-60 in 7 seconds or less.  Do not mind if petrol as I have a fuel card.

Small fuel tank similarly annoying to Fabia 2 and most Skodas.
