GoPro - hit me!

Featured Replies

Ahh okay, it has yet to arrive, I'll have a good thorough check of what is included when it does. Although it wont be the end of the world if I have use the wi-fi and app for the phone to 'set up' the shot.

Thank you for your advice.

I will no doubt be along again to ask for more comments/opinions ;)

Have had a play with the go pro and the cheap '20 in 1' kit that I bought to experiment with, most things seem of reasonable build quality to be honest. Went snowboarding with it and the only problem was my lack of experience! It will take some practice to get used to boarding down a mountain whilst holding out a pole, aiming it at wherever my friends decide to go, whilst also trying to stay close enough, but not too close.

The next dry day we have I am planning on, via suction cup, mounting it to the side of my car, think I'll tie it to the wing mirror too just in case it comes loose. But that should make for some interesting footage.

Also going to do some scrambles on the fells on some scree, and maybe a few sprints through the woods with a chest harness to see how that comes out. And looking for a dog harness to film - from the dog's perspective - it retrieving and flushing pheasants and partridge. Would love to go cliff diving with it too.

Lots to do and play with!
