Yeti under-appreciated in NZ

Featured Replies

We now have significant advertising of Yeti and sales reflect that now.

Previously it was completely unknown to the general public but stock built up resulting in a clearance sale, what a bunch of muppets.

Yes I get the same, people who have travelled with me now understand.

When I bought mine was looking at , Captiva,Forrester,Rav 4, Pathfinder,Tiguan etc, Mate told me about Clarkson's test,

what initially impressed me after Test drive in Tiguan, was that the Skoda Build quality/features were even better that the Tiguan,

and ahead of the rest of what I was looking at.

38,000 KM later still feel the same, 650/700 KM = 50 L of diesel, Ride & Comfort are brilliant, have done 1200/1300 KM in a day,

when I got home was tired, but felt like I had just stepped into Car.

It wasn't that long ago that dust ingestion was a problem with imported cars but certainly not with my Yeti.

Just returned from a 1000km return trip over our mountains with my preference unsealed minor roads including some akin to WRC Corsican stage roughness and dust.

No sign of dust penetrating the cabin and back on the seal , tight as a drum.....zero rattles or squeaks.

So impressive!

it also has to be asked whether there remains some sort of residual reputation about Skoda product that continues to be a hindrance to overall sales

It turns out Skoda has been known in New Zealand for a long time. That's impressive :)
