In a piece on the BBC news about that Soham detective that was just re-arrested in Cambridgeshire, Mr Copper gets out of his jam-sandwich Octavia Estate and gets something out of the boot. Perhaps it was evidence ?

It had Elegance wheels so now I'm getting worried that Cambs Police now have a white 4x4 as well as the silver vRS(?) ones

All the Cambs Police Octavias I have seen have been silver Elegance Estates - fully specced but no engine badge on the rear.

Phew I was afraid us 4x4 owners would be getting confused with cop cars... hang on that might be a good thing ?!

Mine certainly does, especially with a white shirt, shades on, sunvisors down, sunroof tilted, sidelights on, and approach people with a "fast and positive" attitude.
